The Orange County Registrar of Voters (OC-ROV) will be launching the virtual 2021 Technical Redistricting Academy to provide information on the local redistricting process. The 4-part virtual Technical Redistricting Academy is FREE of charge. Sign up for the 2021 Technical Redistricting Academy at ocvote.com/academy.

Every ten years, local governments, including the County of Orange, use new Census data to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. Redistricting is critical because the lines determine the new boundaries of county boards, city councils, water districts and more, which influence who can run for public office.

During the two sessions of this program, attendees will learn more about the data and resources available to them and have multiple opportunities to engage with subject matter experts.

Session Details:

Session 1: Redistricting 101 | Wednesday, July 21, 2021
